The father and sons team aim to build a number of app games from their home based online business. They hope others will follow their lead and look at the mobile phone app industry as a work from home opportunity.

This spring, Solar Manufacturing will install a large Solar Manufacturing Model HCB-120180-2IQ car-bottom type vacuum furnace at a major aviation facility in Shenyang, Peoples Republic of China. This new, purpose-built furnace will be used by the customer for the annealing and degassing of titanium alloys as well as for processing other steel alloy parts for aircraft applications.

The one-of-a-kind furnace has a 120 diameter heating element to accommodate a work zone that measures 99 (2519 mm) wide x 48 (1219 mm) high by 180 (4572 mm) deep and has a hearth designed to accommodate up to a 15,000 pound workload. The system is a single chamber, internal gas quench, batch-type design featuring an all-metal hot zone and dual 35 diffusion pump systems for high vacuum (10-5 Torr range) performance. The internal quench design incorporates a 200 HP motor/heat exchanger system for rapid gas cooling at 2 Bar pressure. Solar accommodated the customers request to fit the furnace and all its components into the smallest footprint arrangement possible by designing a unique, powered loading system.

Supervision of the installation and commissioning of the furnace will be a co-operative effort between Solar Manufacturing and their Chinese representative, Beijing Waves Corporation. It is expected that the furnace will be in full operation by mid-summer 2012.

Preparedness is not Paranoia! This is the motto of Ed Minyard, who has been on the scene shortly after almost every major crisis in and around North America for the past decade. iiNet, Australias second largest DSL broadband provider, has crowned Steve Wright from Melbourne as the countrys next top geek after a three month search concluded with a thrilling quiz contest in Perth tonight.

Steve claimed the iiNet Top Geek 2.0 title after edging out fellow finalists Cody Davis, Cem Selamet, Skaidris Gunsmith, Rhiannon Davies and Rhys Elsmore.

Steve, a games journalist, said there were so many amazing entries in this years contest.

Everyone should be really proud, Ive made some really great friends over the last couple of months, Steve said.

Its really hard going up against all these people because you really want to be friends with them and its hard to see them not go through to the next round for a minute or two.

The quiz, hosted by self-proclaimed geek and comedian Lawrence Leung, tested the six finalists on a range of topics including gaming, art, technology, Internet and fandom.

Steve goes home with an all-expenses paid trip for two to the geek conference of their choice in the US, plus $ 2000 spending money.

Anthony Fisk, iiNets Communications Manager, said the competition is designed to celebrate everyones inner geek.

Being a geek isnt about wearing specs and having braces, its about recognising what youre passionate about and embracing that, Mr Fisk said.

The Old new borrowed redo team has designed everything from a mother-of-the-bride dress turned into pillows for her grandsons room, a favorite cocktail dress turned into an evening clutch and sorority t-shirts into custom quilts. Many bridesmaids are redoing the bridesmaid dress they wore in a friends wedding and then gifting it to the friend on her wedding anniversary or as a baby gift. They recently had a customer create a ring bearer pillow out of her own wedding dress for her daughter to use in her wedding and her granddaughter to someday use in her wedding. In that way, the ring bearer pillow is something old, something borrowed and even something blue (they finished the ring bearer pillow with blue stitching for the embroidery and initialed the three generations onto the pillow.)

The application gives the users the unlimited ability to edit SIP messages and control scenarios (message sequences). “Message sequences” are generated through scripts. “Messages” are created using message templates.

He further added, MAPS can be used to simulate any interface of the VoIP network. A single MAPS can act as more than one SIP entity at a time and can generate any SIP message on wire in VoIP network and hence equipments needed to test are reduced.

Mr. Vadalia further added, GL also provides a Packet Analyzer for on-line capture and decode of the SIP signaling in real-time both during tests and as a stand-alone tracer for live systems

Americans are grateful for their service, but gratitude only goes so far; veterans need employment and support services to ensure they can provide for their families and live lives of dignity in the country whose freedom they helped secure.

By working together, our country can connect veterans and their families with work, homes and the supports they need. That is why Goodwill is proud to serve as the national activation partner of Got Your 6, one of the first examples of a nationally focused collective campaign led by the entertainment industry and national nonprofits that will help create a new conversation in America, one where veterans and military families are perceived as both leaders and civic assets.

In the military, Got Your Six means Ive got your back. Got Your 6 seeks to connect Americans with veterans and military families to build relationships that will aid transition, foster leadership and reinvigorate our communities.
